MaxIt! is a remake of an old video game from the early 1980s. Itisplayed on a 8x8 tile board with positive numbers in blueandnegative numbers in red. One player can only select numbers inthecurrent row and the other player in the current column. Aselectednumber is removed from the board and its value is added tothescore of the player. The selected number also sets the next roworcolumn. After all numbers have been selected or no more movesarepossible, the player with the highest score wins. MaxIt! canbeplayed by two players against each other or by one player againstasmart algorithm. The levels range from 1 (=easy) to 5 (=hard).Insingle player mode, the algorithm gets stronger with eachlevel,making it harder for the player to win. Additionally thenumbersfade away after a while. In level 5 there are only a coupleofseconds before only the current row or column is visible. Soyou'dbetter be quick! MaxIt! levels 1 and 2 are free to play.Levels 3to 5 with the stronger algorithm and more background musicareavailable as an in-App purchase.

The app Archaeo|Rur is a multimedia guide and explains thehistoryof the Rureifel region from the Celts to the Second WorldWar.Above all, the Battle of the Hürtgen Forest left traces inthelandscape that are still visible today. With the help ofphotos,videos and historical aerial imagery, the violent historyoftoday's peaceful landscape can be experienced. After aninitialdownload of the route data, ideally via WiFi, the app nolongerneeds a connection on the go. The LiDAR terrain modelmakesstructures visible that are otherwise difficult to see undertreesand bushes. From an airplane, the earth's surface is scannedwithlaser beams. Some of the laser beams penetrate the canopy inwoodedareas and reach the ground. With a complex calculationprocess,trees and houses can then be removed and a terrain modeliscreated. The LiDAR data used here was collected by the stateofNorth Rhine-Westphalia and is available as open data.

Nach der AuswahleinesBundeslandes kann nach dem Namen der Stadt oder Gemeindegesuchtwerden. Durch die Eingabe der ersten Buchstaben kann dieAuswahl inder Liste vereinfacht werden. Durch Antippen vonBewegungsradiusanzeigen wird die Karte mit der Gemeindefläche unddem15-km-Bewegungsradius angezeigt. Zur Darstellung der KartewirdGoogle Maps verwendet. Falls gewünscht, kann der aktuelleStandortmit Hilfe von GPS angezeigt werden. Der Standort wird dabeigründargestellt, wenn man sich innerhalb des15-km-Bewegungsradiusaufhält. Ein rotes Standortsymbol bedeutet,dass man denBewegungsradius überschritten hat.

Youcandelete your anonymous ID anytime and create a new one. Becausenopersonal information is stored, you will have to create and shareanew ID whenever you change your phone or re-install the app.Closethe 'Manage Your ID' page by tapping on 'Close' at thebottom.Share Your Location Share your current location by firsttapping on'Start GPS' under the 'Share' tab. Once you get asatellite fix,you can tap on 'Share Location'. The GPS sensor isautomaticallyswitched off and your location appears in the 'LastSharedLocation' panel. You can delete your last shared locationanytimeor you can show it on your default map app by tapping on'Show OnMap'. By tapping on the location label either in the'CurrentLocation' or the 'Last Shared Location' panel, you can openup thestandard sharing options of your device and share thelocation withpeople who don't have the PickiMicki app installed.Find LocationIf you get a PickiMicki ID from a friend or familymember who wantsto share their location with you, you can add it toyour contactsunder the 'Find' tab. Tap on 'Add ID' at the bottom,enter a nameand the 'case-sensitive ID' or simply copy and paste itfrom theemail or text. Tap on 'Find Location' to get the lastsharedlocation. You can remove the ID from your contacts list orshow thelocation on your default map app by tapping on 'Show OnMap'.Actions Per Day Each action like sharing a location or findingthelocation of a friend or family member puts load on our server.Inorder to keep the server responsive and our costs in check, wehaveto limit the number of actions per day for each user. As a newuseryou initially get 50 actions and then another 5 free actionsperday. If you need more actions, you can tap on 'Manage Your ID'andpurchase an additional 20, 50, 100 or 200 actions per day.ThePickiMicki app does not collect or sell any personal data nordoesit use ads. The in-app purchases guarantee the necessary incometokeep our service up and running.

Fridge Alarmdetectswhen you try to open the fridge and sounds the alarm. Thelast onehundred attempts are listed on the main page. You did nottouch thefridge for the entries in white and failed for entries inred. Youcan use one of your old phones as long as it has abuilt-inaccelerometer. Put the phone into airplane mode to savebattery.One way of attaching a phone to the fridge is to use highqualitydouble-sided adhesive tape and a phone case. Make sure thattheconnection is good. We shall not be liable for damages causedbyattaching the phone to the fridge. Try to put the phone closetothe fridge handle for maximum sensitivity. You can adjust thealarmthreshold in the settings. If the battery is weak you mighthave toconnect your phone to a charger for longer monitoringperiods.
